5/4/62: At the United Nations, John Glenn and Gherman Titov “try on earphones at a taping to be shown 5/6 between the two men, Dr. Hugh Dryden, deputy administrator of NASA, and Anatoly Blagonravov, Russia’s top space scientist…Both Titov and Glenn said it was important that the U.S. and Russia cooperate in space, particularly in the communications and weather fields.”
